The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced that it has issued 979 positions for India Services and different Central Civil Services, as well as 150 vacancies for Indian Forest Services posts. This is excellent news for all individuals who are interested in applying for the Public Service Commission. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is the most prominent central recruitment agency in India. Through its annual recruitment drive, it fulfills all of the Group ‘A’ officer positions that are available within the Government of India. According to the UPSC Exam Calendar 2025, the preliminary examination for the UPSC CSE and IFS 2025 will be held on a single day, specifically on the 22nd of May 2025, which is a Sunday. The mains examination for the Civil Services Examination 2025 is set to begin on the 22nd of August 2025 and continue for a total of five days. Similarly, the mains examination for the Indian Forest Service is slated to begin on the 16th of November 2025 and continue for a total of five days.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended an invitation to graduates who fall within the eligibility criteria to submit their applications for the UPSC CSE and IFS Exam 2025. The comprehensive schedule for this examination has already been issued with the annual calendar. Additionally, the application forms are made available on the website www.upsc.gov.in, which coincides with the release of the UPSC Notification 2025 on the 22nd of January 2025. Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) either by remitting the money in any branch of the State Bank of India or by using a Visa/Master/RuPay credit/debit card or by using the Internet banking of SBI.
